I have been a proud member of the Canadian Association of Executives and Entrepreneurs (CAWEE) CAWEE Website for many years, and tonight marks the end of 6 years on the Board of Directors. I will be attending the Annual General meeting and once the formal business is done, we will enjoy an evening of wine tasting, delicious food and entertainment.
Networking isn't a quick fix to find new customers. I don't spend my time at networking events stuffing my business card into everyones hand and asking "Wanna buy a house?" It's a long term commitment and a process of relationship building. I have served on the Board to contribute to the organization and given my time to help add value and provide support.
One of the benefits of membership is receiving the quarterly Acclaim publication that explores many areas of business development and growth. I was asked to contribute an article to the most recent issue that dealt with the topic of Management. CAWEE Article
I have been fortunate to assist many members with the purchase and/or sale of a home. However the greatest benefit has been the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with a group of wonderful, inspiring and dedicated women.
Cheers!
